When we first engaged with OFE we were looking to expand our operations in Winnipeg to meet the demand for our products but we had tapped out the labour market for experienced Sewing Machine Operators.  Working with the Province of Manitoba and OFE allowed us to  access a new pool of candidates.  The OFE program participants receive occupational specific essential skills training and employment development programming from OFE.  We then provide the technical training at our manufacturing facility while an OFE Employment Coach is on-site to support the trainees and our team as we work together to onboard new candidates.
