Coming to OFE was my first step in finding employment. I was scared at first, but listening to the staff and especially my classmates, who were experiencing very similar obstacles as me, helped me realize it’s not just me and there is help available. The difference OFE made for me was huge! I had no computer at home, and I was able to make so many job applications from the OFE computers. I was also able to gain new computer skills, which helped me market myself on social media in a professional manner. My increased motivation, new skills and growing confidence gave me a new outlook and opened the door to a job I wanted.
