TESTIMONIALS

Lisa, Electrical Validation Engineer
When I came to OFE, I found the structure to be very motivating and the intentionality behind OFE’s job search plan creates a solid foundation for an effective job search. Being with other job seekers reduced the feelings of isolation I had been experiencing and the strong encouragement from the staff re-affirmed my confidence to seek new employment. Through the process, I engaged in workshops, which helped me to identify my strengths and transferrable skills, and this broadened the scope of my job search, resulting in me finding a job that exceeded my expectations.

Peter, Weld Inspector/Supervisor
After 30 years with the same employer, I lost my job after it was outsourced to Mexico and the USA. Having not job searched for decades, I knew I needed professional advice and support. At OFE, I worked with my Employment Consultant to develop a plan and my program involvement provided me with the confidence and ability to pursue and quickly land suitable employment. I sincerely appreciate the entire OFE team for the support and professional approach to this new chapter in my life.

Eduardo, Retail Manager
Coming to OFE was my first step in finding employment. I was scared at first, but listening to the staff and especially my classmates, who were experiencing very similar obstacles as me, helped me realize it’s not just me and there is help available. The difference OFE made for me was huge! I had no computer at home, and I was able to make so many job applications from the OFE computers. I was also able to gain new computer skills, which helped me market myself on social media in a professional manner. My increased motivation, new skills and growing confidence gave me a new outlook and opened the door to a job I wanted.
